Oh Ace... sweet pea how are we ever going to break you from these things? You are so attached to your BaBa's (bottles) your paci and your blankie. Most of the time you are walking around holding all three of them. It just breaks my heart to think about taking them away from you because I know you do not understand but it is time! It is way past time! You are starting a new daycare in a couple of weeks and guess what?? BaBa's and Paci's are not allowed. We have put it off long enough and now we have no choice.
Your brother made it easy for us because he did away with his paci and bottles on his own, but they are your best friends. I am not sure who this is going to be harder on? You, me and Daddy or your teachers??? I love you sweet baby! We will get through this together!

yes, those are hard times and we haven't gone down that road yet of getting rid of the paci.. and not looking forward to it. ace is so precious! have a great day!
Oh....don't take them from him.
Maybe he could just have his blanket and paci in his crib at night. We did that with Ella and she would practically jump into bed to get them every night.
